Unhurried Irish road journeys
The letter
One journey question at a time: a realistic stage, a sheltered stop and something worth noticing between destinations.

Give a coastal route a realistic daily shape
A short distance on the map can still make a full day when the road is narrow and the stops are frequent. Build the outing around one main destination, then leave the rest as optional.
Pick the stop that would make the day worthwhile on its own. It might be a walk, a village or a place to eat.
Put it on the route before adding a chain of viewpoints.

- Build a wet-weather version of the day
- Pack the boot around the stops you will make
